AC Nagano Parceiro, based in Nagano City, runs an academy of U-18, U-15 (junior youth) and U-12 teams plus schools. It is a broad club with both a men’s first team and a women’s side in the WE League, and its development is organised on the official site’s ‘Academy/School’ section. The first team sits in J3 as of 2026 (confirm).
Club overview
AC Nagano Parceiro is a football club based in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. ‘Parceiro’ is Portuguese for ‘partner’ or ‘companion’, reflecting a stance of moving forward together with the region. Alongside the men’s first team in the J.League, the women’s ‘AC Nagano Parceiro Ladies’ compete in the WE League, so the club runs a full top-to-youth structure across both the men’s and women’s game.
The academy centres on U-18, U-15 and U-12 teams and adds broad school programmes for many age groups. It has a two-tier shape: an entry point into football for children across the northern Nagano area, and a serious development environment for the most promising within the academy squads.

Academy structure
The academy is organised by age band: high-school U-18, junior-high U-15 (junior youth) and elementary U-12, each working toward its own target competitions. U-18 aims at national events such as the Club Youth Championship (U-18), while U-15 and U-12 compete mainly in regional leagues and cups.
- U-18: high-school age; strengthened toward the Club Youth Championship and similar.
- U-15 (junior youth): junior-high age; the crucial foundation years.
- U-12: elementary age; individual technique and decision-making.
Selection trials for each band are announced in the site’s ‘Information’ section, with requirements published each year. Internal promotion links the bands, mapping a U-12 to first-team pathway.
Development philosophy
As the name suggests, Parceiro’s development is rooted in growing together with the region’s ‘partners’. It values supporting children’s personal growth through football, not just results, and building pride in belonging to a club rooted in Nagano.
Having men’s and women’s first teams under the same badge gives academy players close role models. Because both the men’s and women’s sides offer a route from youth to the top, the setup works as an environment where anyone, regardless of gender, can aim upward. Coaching emphasises technical and tactical growth alongside thinking independently and collaborating with team-mates.
Notable graduates & pathway
One academy goal is to move players from U-18 into the first team, or on to the pro game via university or amateur football. As a regional club, it envisages varied careers — not only a direct leap to the seniors but also routes back to the pro game after further study.
Set beside other J.League and community-club academies, it clarifies Parceiro’s place in northern Nagano. For the wider view see our SportsPulse Global — Football hub, and confirm individual player destinations via official announcements.
Honours
The academy’s age-group teams have appeared in national and regional events including the Club Youth Championship (U-18). Because appearances and results vary by season, specific outcomes are best confirmed via the JFA, the relevant federations and the official site.

At club level the two landmarks are the men’s team’s place in the J.League and the women’s side’s place in the WE League — steady progress as a regional development platform.
